Feature Request

I had lost my videos from my phone from May-July 2025 4 but realized I had at least the ones that are here on this app! There just isn't a way for me to redownload the whole video rather than just the snippet that's cut for the day

I was absolutely gutted when I got 1se on my android and realised I couldn't see what journal I had the same day, from the previous year I was genuinely so upset and disappointed. Please can you team update the android version so that I can see my journals from the same days of the previous years. I have used this app for 3/4 years so it would be very helpful, as opposed to manually scrolling back to check what I posted from the year or two years before Many thanks guys!!!

I have a timeline from last year and this year but they are seperate and i would like to merge them into one big timeline. (Eg holiday videos on a seprate timeline I would like to add to my main)

I have trouble uploading GIFs to my album. Is this just me, or isn't this possible just yet? Other than that, i love your app. �

It would be helpful if we had an option to add the location of the taken video, on the right bottom corner. Doesn't even have to be automatic, I would be ok even if we had to put the location for each one of them!

The Android version has less features than the Apple version. There is no "project settings" no "year in review" for androids. You can't save it as anything bigger than thumbnails that are framed. My friend with the Apple phone can save it so that it takes up the full screen. Apples interface is very different.

I want most of my videos muted. Things like traffic noises, ambient background sounds, the neighbor's screaming kids are not a great addition to my videos. It's tedious to have to go back through and turn off the volume on most of the videos.

There needs to be a way to deactivate the motion photo in the app. All of my photos are motion photos and do look good as a clip. Need to have an option to remove the motion photo because going back and screenshoting the photo in my gallery is time consuming and not a clear photo.

In the new update, when you switch from photo/video/motion photo, it scrolls to the correct date. So that's a nice fix. Previously you had to change the type, exit, and go back in. So thanks for that. What isn't great, is, as many have expressed, skipping the caption. If you didn't want to add a caption, you just tapped the checkmark. This isn't saving anyone any time, it's just adding extra steps for those that want to add captions. Also, why doesn't it crop to 16:9 anymore?! I record videos in "full" (2320x1080) and counted on being able to crop them in the app, as not to have black bars on the top and bottom. EDIT: okay, wait, it still works, if you tap [Portrait] first, and then tap [Landscape], (and then double tap to zoom out) then crops it to 16:9! Weird.

A search function in the journals based on captions would be helpful. I tend to add event names and locations in the captions, being able to retrieve certain moments quickly is essential.
