Absolutely agree. There is no reason anything apart from the backup service should not be available as a one time purchase. Imagine how much better the incentive structure for development would be if new revenue was primarily based on the development and sale of new features.

1SE would immediately gain me back as a customer if this happens. I don't mind paying for stuff, but out of principle I will never subscribe to something that is not a service.

I’m on my 4th year of using the app every day. I have put so much into it but I still can’t justify paying $50 every year just to have it backed up to the cloud. I don’t want any of the additional features, I just want to be able to feel peace of mind that I could get my content back if anything happens to my phone. I would pay a 1 time lifetime fee or a significantly cheaper yearly fee just for this but not $50 yearly

I agree £50 is too much for me to justify one video a year where I don’t use any of the filters or music

please, literally all I want is to be able to save it to an account if I lose my phone, I don't really want anything else. I'd pay for that but not at that price

This would be so much better!

I wouldnt use 90% of the updates they keep bringing out for pro so getting a subscription never seemed worthwhile
